Cima Ovest Lavaredo Normal Route III+

To the little brother of Cima Grande. A unique experience far away from the hustle and bustle

The Westliche Zinne 2,973 m was formerly also called Vordere or Landroer Zinne. Its shape is similar to the Große Zinne. On the north face we find extreme overhangs. The north face of the Westliche Zinne is also known as the largest roof in the Alps. It is considered one of the most striking mountain formations in the Alps.
The massive front section has several other peaks, including the Torre Lavaredo 2536 m, the Zinnenkopf (Sasso di Landro, 2736 m), Croda di Mezzo (2733 m), Croda del Rifugio, also Hüttenkofel (approx. 2730 m), Il Mulo (approx. 2800 m), Croda degli Alpini (2865 m), Croda Longéres and Torre Comici (2780 m).
Important routes are the normal route III+, the Dülferkamin IV, the Innerkofler Führe in the east face, the Demuthkante and the Scoiattolikante.
The Swiss Führe, the Cassin/Ratti, Alpenliebe, Bellavista, PanAroma and the Phantom of the Zinne lead through the famous north face.
The Westliche Zinne is known for its striking north face with its large overhangs.
The normal route to the Große Zinne is a worthwhile alpine tour. The route is also the classic descent for the “difficult” north face tours.
At the summit you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Große Zinne and the entire surrounding Dolomites with your local mountain guide.
A unique experience with your mountain guide from South Tyrol.
