Demetz Route Cima Grande Cir V
Beautiful route with original spots
The southeast edge of Cima Grande Cir was first climbed in 1936 by Giovanni Demetz and A. Groppello. It is a very beautiful route with a breathtaking view of the Sella massif.
The tour is rated UIAA IV+. Right at the start of the tour, however, there is a section of grade V to climb, which can also be climbed (less difficult) with a little help of your mountain guide.
At the summit we are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view. The Cima Grande Cir is considered one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Dolomites. Your mountain guide from South Tyrol can name the surrounding mountains with you and tell you a few exciting stories about them.

The descent takes place via the normal route to the Große Cirspitze. This is a well-traveled secured path.
