Detailled Description

🗓️ Day 1: From Lago di Braies to Rifugio Sennes / Fodara Vedla
↑ 870m ascent – ↓ 210m descent – 8.6km – approx. 4.5 hours

Kick-off to the legendary Dolomites Hut to Hut Tour: From the turquoise-blue Lago di Braies, we hike through quiet valleys up to the rustic Rifugio Sennes or Fodara Vedla. Magnificent panorama included!

🗓️ Day 2: Hike to Rifugio Fanes / Rifugio Lavarella
↑ 570m ascent – ↓ 640m descent – 10.0km – approx. 5.0 hours

The route takes us along well-maintained paths to the idyllically situated Rifugio Fanes or Lavarella, where alpine hospitality and typical South Tyrolean hut cuisine await us.

🗓️ Day 3: Hike to Rifugio Scotoni / Lagazuoi
↑ 1105m ascent – ↓ 420m descent – 12.5km – approx. 6 hours

An impressive day: We climb historic trails and steep cirques to the Rifugio Scotoni or continue to the famous Lagazuoi with breathtaking views of the Dolomites. Traces of the First World War make this day particularly memorable.

🗓️ Day 4: Hike to Rifugio Nuvolau / Rifugio Averau
↑ 835m ascent – ↓ 255m descent – 10.5km – approx. 5 hours

We hike over the Lagazuoi Pass through a spectacular rocky landscape to the charming Rifugio Nuvolau or Averau. A sunset over the Dolomites that can only be experienced here.

🗓️ Day 5: Rifugio Nuvolau / Rifugio Averau to Rifugio Passo Staulanza
↑ 430m ascent – ↓ 1230m descent – 16.0km – approx. 6.0 hours.

Today we descend through mountain pine fields and alpine meadows to the Rifugio Passo Staulanza. Along the way, new views of the wild Dolomite peaks open up again and again.

🗓️ Day 6: Rifugio Passo Staulanza to Rifugio Vazzoler
↑ 860m ascent – ↓ 915m descent – 15.1km – approx. 6 hours

A varied day on the Alta Via 1, past bizarre rock formations and through secluded valleys to the cozy Rifugio Vazzoler. Pure Alpine tranquility!

🗓️ Day 7: Rifugio Vazzoler to Rifugio Carestiato
↑ 675m ascent – ↓ 560m descent – 8.7km – approx. 4.5 hours

The path to Rifugio Carestiato offers fantastic views of the mighty Civetta – a delight for nature lovers and photographers. The evening concludes with regional cuisine at the hut.

🗓️ Day 8: Rifugio Carestiato to Rifugio Sommariva al Pramperet
↑ 590m ascent – ↓ 570m descent – 12.4km – approx. 5 hours

We traverse remote landscapes in the Belluno Dolomites National Park and reach the charming Rifugio Sommariva al Pramperet. A stop for connoisseurs.

🗓️ Day 9: Rifugio Sommariva al Pramperet to Rifugio Furio Bianchet
↑ 810m ascent – ↓ 1420m descent – 11.1km – approx. 7 hours

A highlight: A long but rewarding stage to the Rifugio Furio Bianchet. The view back to the Dolomites is breathtaking – a perfect penultimate day!

🗓️ Day 10: Rifugio Furio Bianchet to La Stanga
↑ 45m ascent – ↓ 865m descent – 8.5km – approx. 3 hours

The final descent takes us gently down to La Stanga, accompanied by the scent of the forests and the satisfaction of having mastered this unique Dolomites hut tour.

Deposit: 30% upon booking.
Final payment: At least 60 days before the course start date.
Last-minute bookings: For bookings made less than 60 days before the course start date, the full amount is due immediately.

Guaranteed to run with a minimum of 6 participants. Maximum of 8 participants per date.
If the minimum number of participants (see above) is not reached, you will be notified by email no later than 20 days before the tour starts.

Note for people with reduced mobility

This program is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Suggestion

Use the guided tour not only for safe hiking, but also for special photo opportunities – your guides know the hidden viewpoints off the beaten track and know exactly when the light is at its best. 📸⛰️ This way, you'll take home not only memories, but also truly postcard-worthy images!

Meeting point

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the parking lot near Lake Braies. Your hiking guide will greet you there for a brief tour briefing—after which we'll set off on our Dolomites adventure together!
