Booking Conditions
PAYMENT PLAN
Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit (or the full amount for “last-minute” bookings made less than 60 days before the tour start). The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the course.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Once we receive written notice of your trip cancellation, the following fees apply, calculated as a percentage of the total trip cost:
- 61 days or more before the tour begins: 100% loss of the deposit
- 46 to 60 days before the tour begins: 50% refund of the total trip cost
- 45 days or fewer before the tour begins: 100% loss of the total trip cost
These fees are based on the full booking amount. All days refer to the tour’s departure date. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Experience one of the most iconic high-alpine settings in the Dolomites on this compact yet spectacular 2-day guided adventure in Val Gardena.
This journey leads to the dramatic Forcella Sassolungo (2,685 m) and includes an overnight stay at the legendary Rifugio Toni Demetz, perched between towering limestone walls high above the valley. Surrounded by vertical rock faces and panoramic views across Val Gardena and the Sella massif, this is Dolomite mountaineering atmosphere at its purest.
On day two, you complete the famous Sassolungo circuit, walking beneath massive rock formations and through varied alpine terrain. A short but intense experience — perfect for those seeking exposure, scenery, and authentic hut atmosphere in a limited timeframe.
DETAILED PROGRAM
📅 Day 1 – Plan de Gralba to Forcella Sassolungo (2,685 m) – Rifugio Toni Demetz
↑ 900 m – ↓ 0 m – 6 km – approx. 4–5 hrs
Starting in Plan de Gralba in Selva Val Gardena, the route climbs toward Passo Sella before following the steep and dramatic ascent to Forcella Sassolungo. The final section winds through rugged limestone terrain into the narrow high mountain saddle where Rifugio Toni Demetz is located.
Overnight in a mountain hut at 2,685 m.
📅 Day 2 – Sassolungo Circuit – Rifugio Vicenza – Val Gardena
↑ 200 m – ↓ 1,080 m – 9.2 km – approx. 4–5 hrs
After sunrise above the Dolomite walls, the classic Sassolungo circuit leads beneath imposing rock faces toward Rifugio Vicenza. The trail continues through varied alpine terrain back down into Val Gardena valley and to the starting point.
