Experience one of the most famous racing slopes in the Dolomites on a private Gran Risa Ski Tour from Corvara. The tour begins in Corvara, where you will meet your ski guide before heading towards the scenic Pralongià ski area.
The route continues across Alta Badia towards Piz La Ila, the starting point of the legendary Gran Risa slope in La Villa. Surrounded by forest and set against the dramatic Dolomite landscape, this challenging black piste is one of the highlights of the Alta Badia ski area.
The Gran Risa is internationally renowned as a venue for the men’s Alpine Ski World Cup. Its steep gradients and technical sections make it an exciting descent for confident and experienced skiers.
This tour is best started early in the morning, when the slopes are freshly groomed and skiing conditions are at their finest. Depending on the group’s ability and preferences, there may be time to repeat the Gran Risa or explore additional slopes around Piz La Ila and Pralongià.
After skiing, the tour continues to one of Alta Badia’s excellent mountain restaurants. Lunch can be arranged at the famous Club Moritzino or another carefully selected rifugio in the area.
With an experienced Alta Badia ski guide, the itinerary can be adapted to the group’s skiing level, interests and the conditions of the day. After lunch, you will ski back through the Alta Badia ski area to Corvara.
