Full Description
Experience one of Val Gardena’s most scenic ski areas on a private Seceda On-Piste Ski Tour with a Val Gardena ski guide. The day begins in Val Gardena, where you will meet your guide before travelling through the lift network towards Seceda.
Seceda is particularly beautiful in the morning, when its wide slopes are freshly groomed and the snow conditions are at their best. The open terrain provides enjoyable skiing together with exceptional views across the Sassolungo, Sella and Odle mountain groups.
The area is famous for the distinctive Seceda ridgeline, where green alpine slopes meet the steep rock walls of the Odle peaks. The summit area reaches approximately 2,519 metres and has become one of the most recognisable viewpoints and photographic locations in the Dolomites.
During the morning, you will explore the best pistes around Seceda before skiing the famous La Longia slope down to Ortisei. This varied descent is more than 10 kilometres long, with approximately 1,273 metres of vertical drop, making it the longest ski run in South Tyrol. It leads from the open slopes of Seceda through forest sections and a natural canyon before arriving in Ortisei.
After reaching Ortisei, the lifts take you back into the Seceda ski area for further skiing and a relaxed lunch in the mountains. Depending on availability and the group’s preferences, lunch can be arranged at Daniel Hut, Sofie Hut or another carefully selected mountain restaurant.
After lunch, you can enjoy additional panoramic runs before completing another long descent back into Val Gardena. With an experienced ski guide in Val Gardena, the pace and itinerary are adapted to your ability, interests and the conditions of the day.
