Unlike classic summit ferratas focused on vertical climbing, the Via Ferrata Cascate Fanes is all about the dramatic canyon environment. The route passes through narrow gorges, beside roaring waterfalls and across exposed bridges while following equipped paths directly inside the canyon. One of the most memorable highlights is walking behind the waterfalls themselves, surrounded by water, rock and incredible natural scenery.
The route combines the equipped paths Giovanni Barbara and Lucio Delaiti, creating a beautiful circular adventure through the canyon system. Technically, the ferrata is relatively accessible and suitable for beginners with good fitness and a basic head for heights.
