The Via Ferrata delle Trincee is one of the most scenic and spectacular ridge via ferratas in the Dolomites. Located above Arabba on the panoramic Padon crest directly opposite the Marmolada glacier, this guided via ferrata combines exposed climbing, fascinating WWI history, and breathtaking alpine scenery into one unforgettable Dolomites adventure.
Often considered one of the most beautiful ridge traverses in the Dolomites, the route follows old military lines, trenches and tunnels along the dramatic Padon ridge. The ferrata starts with a steep and athletic section before continuing across exposed panoramic terrain with incredible views toward Marmolada, the Sella Group, and the surrounding peaks of the Arabba region.
