Booking Conditions
PAYMENT PLAN
Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit (or the full amount for “last-minute” bookings made less than 60 days before the tour start). The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the course.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Once we receive written notice of your trip cancellation, the following fees apply, calculated as a percentage of the total trip cost:
- 61 days or more before the tour begins: 100% loss of the deposit
- 46 to 60 days before the tour begins: 50% refund of the total trip cost
- 45 days or fewer before the tour begins: 100% loss of the total trip cost
These fees are based on the full booking amount. All days refer to the tour’s departure date. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Experience a spectacular 2-day guided hiking adventure through the wild heart of the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park. This compact yet intense tour combines quiet alpine valleys, dramatic rocky passages, panoramic high plateaus, and one of the most renowned mountain huts in the Dolomites.
From the peaceful village of Tires, the route leads through the untouched Tschamin Valley, ascends via the rugged Bärenloch, and reaches the breathtaking high-alpine setting of Rifugio Alpe di Tires, nestled beneath the dramatic Rosszähne rock towers.
On the second day, you traverse the vast landscapes of the Alpe di Siusi plateau, hike to the iconic Schlern (Sciliar) and the legendary Rifugio Bolzano, before descending back toward the valley. A short but deeply rewarding Dolomite experience filled with scenic diversity and authentic alpine atmosphere.
DETAILED PROGRAM
📅 Day 1 – Tires – Val Tschamin – Bärenloch – Rifugio Alpe di Tires
↑ 1,500 m – ↓ 0 m – 11.2 km – approx. 6 hrs
Starting in Tires, the trail leads through the scenic and less-crowded Tschamin Valley. The ascent continues steadily through forests and alpine terrain before reaching the dramatic rocky section of the Bärenloch. This alpine passage adds character and excitement to the climb before arriving at Rifugio Alpe di Tires in a spectacular high mountain setting.

📅 Day 2 – Rifugio Alpe di Tires – Alpe di Siusi – Schlernhaus – Sciliar
↑ 460 m – ↓ 1,180 m – 13.5 km – approx. 5–6 hrs
After breakfast, the route crosses the wide-open landscapes of the Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high alpine plateau. You hike toward Rifugio Bolzano (Schlernhaus), dramatically positioned at the edge of the Schlern plateau. From there, an optional ascent to the summit of the Schlern (Sciliar) offers panoramic views across the Dolomites before descending back toward the valley.
