This easy guided hike starts at Capanna Alpina in Alta Badia and leads into one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes of the Dolomites. The trail climbs gradually through peaceful alpine terrain toward the famous Rifugio Scotoni, surrounded by the impressive peaks of Lagazuoi and the Fanes group.
Rifugio Scotoni is one of the highlights of the day and the perfect place to enjoy a traditional mountain lunch in an authentic Dolomites rifugio. Known for its excellent food and spectacular setting, it is considered one of the most iconic mountain huts in the area.
After lunch, the hike continues through open alpine scenery toward Passo Valparola, offering stunning panoramic views across Alta Badia and the surrounding Dolomite peaks. The route remains relatively easy and non-technical, making it ideal for hikers looking for a relaxed day in the mountains with breathtaking scenery and a classic rifugio experience.
At Passo Valparola, guests return comfortably by public bus, completing a beautiful one-way hike through the heart of the Dolomites.
